5. Google Services and Google User Data

TIPMAS integrates with Google services via the Google APIs listed below to provide specific features. This section discloses, as required by the Google API Services User Data Policy, how our application accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data. We access Google user data only when you explicitly authorize a connection, and only for the purposes described here. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to the feature you authorized.

5.1 Google APIs we access and the data involved

  • Gmail (scope: gmail.send, email): We may send transactional emails and notifications on your behalf (for example, receipts, statements, and account alerts). We access your email address and may create and send messages; we do not read, collect, or store the contents of your Gmail mailbox.
  • Google Calendar (scope: calendar.events): We may create, view, and update calendar events on your connected calendar (for example, to schedule KYC appointments, repayment reminders, or mining contract milestones). We store only the event references and times needed to manage your schedule within TIPMAS.
  • Google Drive (scope: drive.file): We may create and manage files we generate (such as reports, exports, and statements) in your Drive, and read files you explicitly select and open with our app. We only access files created by or explicitly shared with TIPMAS.
  • Google Sheets (scope: spreadsheets, drive.file): We may read from and write to spreadsheets we create or that you explicitly authorize, for purposes such as financial reporting, reconciliation, and data exports. We do not access spreadsheets you have not authorized.
  • Google Meet (scope: meetings.space.created): We may create meeting spaces to support scheduled sessions (for example, support or verification calls). We create meeting links on your behalf; we do not access call content, recordings, or participant media.
  • Google profile (scope: email): We access your Google account email address (and, where authorized, basic profile information such as name and profile image) to identify and authenticate your connection and link it to your TIPMAS account.

5.2 How we use Google user data

We use Google user data only to:

  • Provide the specific integration feature you requested (sending email, scheduling events, generating reports, creating meeting spaces);
  • Authenticate and link your Google connection to your TIPMAS account;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the integration features.

We do not use Google user data to recognize identities across services, build persistent user profiles, or for advertising, and we do not allow others to use Google user data for these purposes.

5.3 Storage and security of Google user data

We store Google OAuth access and refresh tokens securely, encrypted at rest, and use them only to perform the authorized operations. We do not store your Google password. Data retrieved from Google (such as calendar event references, generated file links, or sent message metadata) is stored only as needed to provide the feature and is protected by the security measures described in Section 8 (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, monitoring, and logging). We retain Google-derived data only for as long as needed for the feature, or as required by law, and then delete it.

5.4 Sharing and transfer of Google user data

We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties for their independent purposes. We may transfer Google-derived data only to our cloud infrastructure providers as necessary to operate the integration, and to authorities when legally required. All processors are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements. We do not transfer Google user data to others for reasons other than providing or improving the TIPMAS functionality you authorized. You may disconnect any Google integration at any time from your account settings or your Google Account permissions page, which revokes our access and deletes the associated tokens.

5.5 Limited use compliance

Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only transfer Google user data to others as necessary to provide or improve the feature you authorized, and we do not use Google user data for behavioral advertising or to build persistent user profiles across services.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

TIPMAS may use cookies, local storage, session technologies, pixels, and similar technologies to:

  • Keep users signed in;
  • Maintain security;
  • Remember preferences;
  • Maintain sessions;
  • Understand website usage;
  • Improve performance;
  • Detect suspicious activity.

You can configure your browser to reject or delete cookies. Some TIPMAS functionality may not work correctly if essential cookies are disabled.

7. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information as a commodity.

We may share information when reasonably necessary with:

Service Providers

Trusted third parties that provide services such as:

  • Hosting;
  • Cloud infrastructure;
  • Payment processing;
  • Identity verification;
  • Email delivery;
  • SMS delivery;
  • Analytics;
  • Security;
  • Customer support;
  • Technical infrastructure.

These providers are expected to process information only for authorized purposes.

Merchants and Organizations

Where necessary to provide a requested service, relevant information may be shared with merchants, organizations, community administrators, or other participants involved in the transaction or service.

Legal and Regulatory Authorities

We may disclose information where required to:

  • Comply with applicable law;
  • Respond to lawful government requests;
  • Comply with court orders;
  • Protect users;
  • Investigate fraud or security incidents;
  • Protect our legal rights.

Business Transfers

If TIPMAS or a relevant business operation is reorganized, merged, acquired, financed, or transferred, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, or misuse.

Security measures may include:

  • Encryption in transit;
  • Encryption at rest;
  • Access controls;
  • Authentication mechanisms;
  • Monitoring;
  • Logging;
  • Security testing;
  • Infrastructure protection;
  • Backup and recovery procedures.

However, no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for:

  • Providing services;
  • Maintaining accounts;
  • Completing transactions;
  • Meeting legal or regulatory requirements;
  • Resolving disputes;
  • Preventing fraud;
  • Enforcing agreements;
  • Maintaining legitimate business records.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data not subject to legal retention obligations via your account settings or by contacting us.

10. International Data Processing

TIPMAS may use service providers and infrastructure located in countries other than the country in which you reside.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable measures to ensure that appropriate safeguards are applied as required by applicable law.

11. Children's Privacy

TIPMAS services are not intended for children where applicable law prohibits their use.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental or guardian consent is legally required unless the appropriate consent or legal basis has been obtained. Guardian-controlled minor beneficiary profiles are managed by a verified adult guardian who holds legal liability for all activity; minors have no direct platform account.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to TIPMAS improperly, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights including:

  • The right to access your personal information;
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate information;
  • The right to request deletion where legally applicable;
  • The right to object to certain processing;
  • The right to restrict certain processing;
  • The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • The right to request a copy of certain information;
  • The right to complain to an appropriate data-protection authority.

Some rights may be subject to legal limitations.

To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the details provided below, or visit our GDPR & Data Rights Center.

13. Account Deletion

Where available, you may request deletion or closure of your TIPMAS account from your account settings.

Account deletion may not immediately remove information that we are legally required to retain, information required for fraud prevention, transaction records, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

TIPMAS may contain links, integrations, APIs, payment services, authentication services, or other functionality provided by third parties.

Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. TIPMAS is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.

We encourage users to review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing information to them.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • Changes to our services;
  • Changes in technology;
  • Changes in legal requirements;
  • Changes in our data practices;
  • New security or privacy practices.

When we make material changes, we may provide an appropriate notice through the TIPMAS website, application, email, or other communication channel.
