Protect your account and your mobile money

• Never share a one-time code. Not with anyone who calls, texts or messages you — including someone claiming to be from TIPMAS, your telecom, or the police. We never ask for it.
• Watch for SIM swap. If your phone suddenly loses network for no reason, or you get alerts about a SIM replacement you did not request, contact your telecom immediately — that is how a fraudster takes over the number your mobile money codes go to.
• Use a password unique to TIPMAS, and turn on two-factor or passkey sign-in in Security Settings. Reused passwords are the commonest way accounts are taken over.
• Add withdrawal addresses to your whitelist so funds can only ever go to an address you approved, after a cooling-off period.
